Harpply LLC (“Harpply,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this Online Dating Safety page for general informational purposes. This page does not constitute legal advice or professional guidance. You (“user” or “you”) are solely responsible for your own safety and personal decisions when interacting with any user on or off the Harpply platform. By using Harpply, you acknowledge that you have read this page in its entirety.

Harpply is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Users under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from creating or maintaining an account.

Your Responsibilities

All users are expected to adhere to the following when using the Harpply platform:

  • Do not share personal information with any user. This includes but is not limited to your home address, workplace, phone number, email address, Social Security number, financial account details, or daily routine.
  • Do not send money, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or any form of financial assistance to any user for any reason.
  • Do not share photographs or copies of government-issued identification, passports, driver’s licenses, or banking documents with any user.
  • Do not share your Harpply login credentials, password, or account access with any user.
  • Do not solicit other users for money, gifts, or financial favors.
  • Do not continue communication with any user who requests personal information you have declined to provide.
  • Report any user who requests money, misrepresents their identity, or engages in behavior that appears fraudulent or suspicious.

In-Person Meetings

If you choose to meet another user in person, you do so entirely at your own risk. Harpply does not arrange, facilitate, screen, or monitor in-person meetings between users.

  • Meet only in public, well-lit, and populated locations. Do not meet at a private residence or isolated area.
  • Inform a trusted person of where you are going, who you are meeting, and your expected return time.
  • Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting. Do not accept rides from or disclose your home address to any user.
  • Keep your mobile phone charged and on your person at all times.
  • If at any point you feel unsafe, leave immediately. Contact local law enforcement or call 911.

Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the Harpply platform. Violation may result in account suspension, permanent removal, and referral to law enforcement where applicable:

  • Posting altered, manipulated, or misleading photographs or profile information that misrepresents your identity, age, or gender.
  • Uploading, sharing, or distributing sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content of any kind.
  • Uploading or sharing images that include minors in any context.
  • Solicitation, facilitation, or promotion of human trafficking, sex trafficking, prostitution, escort services, or any form of sexual exploitation.
  • Solicitation or promotion of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
  • Threatening, harassing, intimidating, stalking, or bullying any user.
  • Language or imagery that is racist, discriminatory, or promotes hatred toward any individual or group.
  • Promotion of violent organizations, extremist ideologies, or any content that incites violence.
  • Impersonation of another person or unauthorized use of another user’s account.
  • Any attempt to use the Harpply platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, or promotion of external products or services without written authorization from Harpply.

Reporting Violations

If you observe any of the prohibited conduct listed above, or encounter any activity that you believe violates applicable law or the Harpply Terms of Service, report it immediately using the in-app reporting feature or by contacting our support team.

You are strongly encouraged to report the following without delay:

  • Any user who requests money, gifts, or financial information.
  • Any user who you believe is misrepresenting their identity or using a fraudulent account.
  • Any user who deliberately misrepresents their age or gender.
  • Any content that violates the Prohibited Conduct section above.
  • Any behavior that you believe constitutes a threat to your safety or the safety of others.

Harpply reserves the right, but is not obligated, to investigate reports and take action at its sole discretion. If you believe you are a victim of fraud or a crime, contact your local law enforcement agency directly. Harpply is not a substitute for law enforcement.

Harpply does not conduct criminal background checks on its users. Harpply does not verify, guarantee, or make any representations regarding the character, intentions, criminal history, or conduct of any user. Any verification features offered by Harpply are limited in scope and do not constitute a guarantee of identity or safety.

You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Harpply platform, and any interactions with other users whether online or in person, are at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Harpply shall not be liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims of any kind arising from or related to your interactions with other users, including but not limited to financial fraud, emotional distress, physical harm, property damage, or death.

Harpply expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and safety of the platform or its users.
